My Trip Of A Lifetime – Sugar Beach Resort and Spa, St. Lucia

Nestled in the Piton Mountains, the white sand beaches, clear waters, and rain forest combine to create a magical, heavenly oasis. There, I spent five fabulous days with my closest girlfriends.

From the moment we were greeted at the airport, it was clear that our every need would be attended to. The resort welcomed us with fresh coconuts filled with real coconut water or rum punch as an option, and we were escorted by our butler (yes, an amazing butler who was at our beck and call at a moment’s notice) to our beachfront cottage that literally sat on the beach.

Our accommodations were exquisite, featuring a gorgeous outdoor shower, stunning rooms, a massive and beautiful tub, and a cozy jacuzzi.

The first morning I woke early, so I stepped outside where there wasn’t another soul around. Sitting on the beach with massive gratitude, I centered myself with breath, and simply connected with my surroundings. It felt as if mother nature was giving my heart a warm squeeze.

Each morning I made my way to the water’s edge to stretch and practice my Barre exercises among the lapping waves, sunrise, and soaring trees. It was truly sublime. My daily workouts were followed by delectable, healthy cuisine at The Terrace restaurant, where we were treated like royalty.

Day three was quite possibly the best day of my life, featuring a Catamaran adventure that took us around the peak of the mountains where the views were majestic and exquisite. Our fun included snorkeling in picture-perfect waters, dancing on the boat, and simply oozing gratitude and appreciation for the experience, for our health, for our friendship, and for the beauty that was all around us.
